Did you ever play the "Pimp My Ride" video game? It's one of those things in life that is so terrible, it's fun. I like the part were you have to 'Ghost ride the whip' to earn money to pimp cars.

I was there, for like, 20 minutes, and it felt like the longest night of my life. It felt like hours. I feel like maybe the bad weather just brought strange people together? Because I've heard so much good about that place. I don't understand. The DJ was bad. Really bad. If you don't know how to mix songs and keep the beat going, please don't try. It's very awkward.

About Ms. Estelle Be-Awesome (I'm not sure what her name is, but I decided it's probably Estelle. Or Blanche.) She is my hero. That 75-year-old woman was a G.

"I once heard a person call a video game a nigga."
That always makes me giggle. Every time you tell me this, I giggle.

I think the issue is not that "Journalists can say whatever they want," because we can't. Sorry. Doesn't work that way on the inside. For the most part, most reporters aren't even allowed to pick what stories they right, it's all assignments from the top. However, as north_side_girl pointed out, one of the real issues in this case (this election?) that the lines of who can be called a journalist is vague. Like paparazzi, bloggers, etc. Politically-funded "news organizations" often try to pose as *real* news outlets, but you have to beware who's paying their bills. (This happens on both sides.) Journalists who study to become journalists understand laws and ethics, but it's radical "news organizations" and bloggers for the most part who report on bunk.

Apparently, what's important isn't necessarily important.

Fact: "That man's cold, unhappy stare would probably steal the life from a baby." Agreed.

That's awful you didn't see Adam West. I was there from about 12:30 to 3:30 and he was hanging out at the table, looking pretty lonesome. I thought about going to talk to him, but I could only come up with lame Family Guy jokes in my head.
